Nido Early School Trafalgar is looking for a vibrant and inspiring Lead Educator to join our team! At Nido Traflagar, we embed the Phoenix Cups Framework to support children's regulation, connection and wellbeing. Our Educators use trauma-informed practices every day, creating calm, predictable environments where all children feel safe and heard.

As a Lead Educator in our nest, you will lead and develop the curriculum whilst actively encouraging children’s learning and development to support their strong sense of identity. You will receive dedicated support from the Early Childhood Teacher and Leadership team. 

ABOUT THE SERVICE:

• 92 place single story service in a great community
• Utilise the Story Park platform, enriching our communication with families about their child's development and fostering a sense of active participation.
• Opening hours are 6:30am-6:30pm
• Caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 6 rooms and 5 stunning outdoor play areas
• On site parking available for staff 
• Permanent full-time role but can be open to 4 days a week for the right candidate

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE  

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care 
• Must be available to work on a rotating roster - 6.30-6.30
• 1-2yrs experience in leading a team within a childcare service
• Strong communication and time-management skills 
• A valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
• Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
• Contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and Educators
