Our beautiful Moonee Valley service is looking for a passionate and dedicated Lead educator to join our team. We are inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and are passionate about delivering contemporary educational practices for our children, educators, and families.
 
The Role: 
  • Full-time position, Rotational shifts, Monday to Friday
  • Must have a Diploma in ECEC and experience in a similar role is highly regarded
  • 3 assistants within the room and regular support on floors from our Curriculum Leader, along with 2 hours planning per week
  • Leading our 2-3 year old room (approx 18 children per day)
  • As soon as possible start

  • Based in the suburb of Moonee Ponds
  • Regular excursions to local park, primary school and fruit shop
  • Caters for children from 6 weeks to five years old across 5 rooms and 3 stunning outdoor play areas
  • Very close to local coffee shops for lunch time breaks

  • Stunning double story 91 place service
  • Opening hours of the service are - 6:30am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday

About You: 
  • Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood 
  • Must be available to work 5 days a week
  • Experience in working as a Lead Educator in a childcare service 
  • A Valid Working with Children Check or willing to obtain
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willing to obtain
  • Contribute to exceeding outcomes for children and Educators
  • Have strong communication skills written and verbal
  • Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and ability to plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning programs
  • Be confident in collaborating with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs and interests
